Roxanne enjoyed a career at the local utility in Baltimore, Maryland, working there for 31 years. She spent a good portion of her career working as an Assistant to various Executives, making sure they were able to be where they needed to be, on task and prepared with whatever might be needed in every situation. It was a fun and demanding job.
Roxanne obtained a Business and Marketing Degree from the College of Notre Dame of MD(2000).
Roxanne retired in 2013 and in early 2014, she and her husband took a 5 month trip across the United States in their RV. Highlights included Key West, Florida,New Orleans, Louisiana, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sedona, Arizona, The GrandCanyon, Las Vegas and Hoover Dam, various National Parks in Utah and Wyoming,Mt. Rushmore, and St. Louis Archway.
After spending vacations in Myrtle Beach for10 years, in 2015, they relocated to the Myrtle Beach area. Roxanne began volunteering with Neighbor toNeighbor in early 2016. From 2016 until now, Roxanne has been a part of Neighbor to Neighbor as volunteer, part time employee, and now Board member.
Roxanne has always had a heart for volunteering, and participated in many volunteer activities throughout her career. After moving to the area, Roxanne worked as volunteer for almost 2 years at Neighbor to Neighbor before being asked to join the organization on a part time basis.
